On the American Cancer Society's 31st Annual Great American Smokeout, Alegent Health is celebrating one year of its tobacco-free initiative, which took effect on Nov. 16, 2006. To help both employees and the public kick the habit, Alegent Health offers several smoking cessation options. Listen in to Sheri Rowland, a nurse practitioner and also an educator of the "I Can" smoking cessation program, as she offers hints and suggestions to those who want to quit smoking.
